All About Air! - Classroom Kit

This is an amazing classroom kit for up to 24 students grades K-6. Students will explore the properties of air, learn how to inflate a giant bag with 1 breath, make a 50 foot long bag float using solar energy, and much more! Air is all around, but because it can’t be seen, it is sometimes difficult for students (or adults!) to understand its properties. This kit helps air become real to your students. The bags help your students to catch and "see" the air, allowing them to test, observe, and discover. Because the bags allow them to trap and hold air in their hands, students understand that air has volume (takes up space) and mass (is made of molecules, just like they are.) Students will learn the scientific secrets of air pressure while inflating Windbags and watching a Solar Bag rise in the sun.
