The Elenco Photon Solar racer science kit will teach future engineers all about solar energy and how to convert it to useful applications. You will build this exciting sleek solar educational toy that runs on a high efficiency solar cell. Have your friends build one too and have fun racing them. The Photon can travel at speeds up to 10 feet in just 3 seconds! Assembly is quick and easy and only takes about 30 minutes, but the knowledge will last a lifetime!

No soldering and no batteries needed for the science kit. Comes with a 1/2 Amp solar array, wheels and tires, arrow clips, 1 high speed motor, 2 washers, 1 axle, 2 wire nuts, 1 screw and nut, instructions and cool facts about solar power as used in vehicles. The solar car is clear plastic, you cut it out of the mold. The car can be painted any color scheme that you desire (paint is not included). The body of Photon is even made from recycled pop bottles. The only tools you'll need are a + screwdriver and a scissors!
