SET 5 - Water, Capillary Action, Air!

Young Scientists will have hours of hands-on fun with Water, Capillary Action, and Air, 3 complete science kits in 1! So what do submarines, chromatography, and capillary tubes all have in common? They all use unique properties of water to perform special jobs. Start by learning about the properties of water by dissolving substances in water, making a siphon, and creating an iceberg! Next, explore the fascinating property of water called "capillary action" by watching colored dyes of candies crawl on chromatography paper and by observing colored water moving in plants. Can water really move against gravity? Finally, learn about the fun properties of Air by performing lots of "tricks" such as shrinking a soda bottle, moving a snake, collapsing a juice box, and much much more! The best part about this is it's a fun educational toy.

This is Set #5. Young Scientists Club recommends starting with Set #1 and working through Set #12, however, every set is a different subject and sets can be done individually. Twelve kits of 3 sets each make up 36 different subjects in this series. This Young Scientists Club series is great for homeschooling activities and are a great source for science fair project ideas!
